The tallest building in the world 2004–2010, utilising six dual Alimak hoists
Taipei 101, Taipei, Taiwan, 509 M
Taipei 101 – 509 reasons to be proud.
There were a lot of records being broken on Taipei 101, both in the world of buildings and the world of Alimak Hek.
The world’s highest building had the largest construction hoist on a single mast that Alimak Hek ever built, in terms of width and length. In total, Taipei 101 had 12 Alimak construction hoists with roof-mounted machinery. Six of these were high-speed Alimak Scando hoists with higher capacities and counter weights. Altogether, this gave the building an unsurpassed transportation capacity. Breaking records, however, was not our only objective. No matter how high the building project, Alimak Hek’s sole focus is always to provide our customers with a fast, reliable and cost-effective shuttle service for both men and materials- every day, around the clock, if necessary.
Alimak Hek is proud to be the chosen supplier of construction hoists for this prestigious project, and proud to be a part of making every single meter of The Taipei 101 a success.
